My favourite piece of the planet and great to get back there again last month. How lucky the local people there are to have the fells on their doorstep every day!

Possession by A S Byatt

Read this stunning novel when it came out in the 90's and have heard radio adaptations. But currently listening to the audio book read by Samuel West and it is fantastic. If you haven't read Possession  - you must!

04

Sam Fender's - Seventeen Going Under

An absolute stonker of a tune from Sam who is not only a great musical talent but a true poet too. Taken from the new album of the same name.

James Martin

Enjoy his cooking shows, especially his Saturday morning programme. Always makes the cooking look easy and interesting. Have learned a lot from watching him.

09

Playing guitar again

Until recently, I hadn't picked up my electric Fender for years. Then I did and haven't looked back. Great fun and a new plug-in mini amp is terrific.

My New Electric Bike

Brilliant! That extra electric push goes to another level.
