A Maxwell Pardon?

Epstein rules the airwaves in the USA. Trump is still caught in the headlights because of his past close ties with the sex-offender and even his own red-cap MAGA faithful are calling the President’s refusal to ‘publish the Epstein list’ and nail the who. what, where, when of the whole, sick saga a betrayal.
A wee bit of a pickle for Trump this… because, who knows, he could be personally right in the middle of the who, what, where and when. Trump a bit dodgy? Really? Who would have thought…
And, right in the middle of the mess, stands one person; Ghislaine Maxwell - Epstein lover, Duke of York close friend, daughter of the hideous Robert (what a CV!), currently in chokey in the USA for twenty years having been convicted of child sex trafficking in the Epstein fallout.
Twenty years, of which she has served four so far. Twenty years… but how much longer will she be behind bars?
Taken as a whole - all the Epstein conspiracies, what Trump did or didn’t do, what the disgusting Duke of York got up to, who might be on any Epstein ‘list’ - just imagine what Ghislaine Maxwell knows. A central figure in the sorry line-up, Maxwell must know where a great deal of the skeletons are not only buried but where they are still living. All those Epstein jet flights, all the Royal trips and get-togethers, all those celebrities, all that stuff…
And, we assume, after four years in jail she hasn’t spilt the beans. If you were facing twenty years in the slammer wouldn’t you be tempted to bring a few of the co-baddies down with you?
So why hasn’t she?
Possibly because some sort of deal was worked out, before of after Trump was President again? Keep quiet, let some time pass, and circumstances can change and who knows, maybe, just possibly, those years can disappear. A pardon perhaps?
Now, suddenly, as Trump is fire-fighting the Epstein minefield, talk of a pardon for Maxwell is surfacing. Just today, the family of the recently decreased, Virginia Giuffre, who was sensationally photographed with the Duke of York arm around her with Maxwell standing behind them, and received millions of pounds in a court settlement with the Duke, has gone public to urge Trump not to grant one.
In the news the other day, there was talk that according to some research in the USA the media there over the last few months have increasingly used the work ‘victim’ when mentioning Ghislaine Maxwell. The idea being that in some way the ground is being laid to create an acceptable climate for Maxwell go free. Freedom… and all those skeletons can remain secret and she can return to the jet-set, super-rich lifestyle she has always bathed in.
Epstein dead, Maxwell and her secrets safe… how convenient. Possibly not ever enough to fear that the awful Prince Andrew can ever darken our doorsteps again but who knows…
A Maxwell pardon? Well, we live in the Trump era.
